I can't believe Melanie is one. It is just so crazy how fast it is going. It's making me kind of sad. I am trying to appreciate everyday I have with her. She had a birthday party on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. I LOVE planning parties. The theme was from the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We had about 35 people here. Which was about the limit. But it worked out.
Here's the invitation
Here's the invitation unfolded.
Party favors
The monthly progression pictures next to her bear.
This is the food from the book. Also, cake pops are the way to go for kids birthdays. Small and no mess. And they love them.
Here's the birthday girl. She took a little tumble down the stairs so she wasn't in the best mood for a while.
Dig in!
Nice!
This is a video Drew put together for Mel. I love this song. It is so cute.

Aw, what a little snuggle bug! Paul Simon, LOVE that song. I bought it for a slideshow song for my kids but haven't used it yet. :-) They grow so fast! Don't get sad, just have more kids, ha ha. :-) And they just keep getting better as they get older!
