Races

I just realized I needed to document some races that I've done the past few months. My friend Jena and I have signed up for some running adventures this winter in Saint Louis! We wanted to sign up for races so we keep up our running...... just enough. We do workout classes everyday, so we've had to fit in some runs here and there. We've expanded our running crew to four now, with the addition of our friends Ashley and Jamie:)

Santa's on the Loose 5k. It was the snowiest race I have ever done. A lot of people couldn't make it since the roads were so bad. Our feet were soaked in about 10 seconds, but it was super fun.

Way of Lights 5k. This was a night run that had Christmas lights everywhere. It's a church campus. It was pretty stinkin cold, and the next day it snowed a ton. We love to live on the edge;)

The Stan Musial Bridge Run. It was a 4 miler. We got to run across the new bridge crossing the Mississippi River before it opened for the first time the next day. This was also a very chilly run, but once we got going it wasn't too bad.

We just ran the Saint Patrick's Day Parade run downtown on Saturday. It was a 5 miler. It was a perfect day. Finally, a warm run (once we started)!
